Sheffield City of Sanctuary is looking for a part-time network development officer, to develop our existing network of supporting organisations and volunteers throughout the city.
The post will be 2.5 days (17.5 hours) per week, based at our Sheffield City Centre office. Salary is £10,000 p.a. (£20,000 pro
rata)
We are looking for someone with a thorough knowledge of issues affecting people seeking sanctuary in the UK, experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers, and skills in building links with different organisations and communities.
We need your enthusiasm, creativity and fresh ideas to help us to realise the full potential of the City of Sanctuary movement in Sheffield. You will recruit and support a team of volunteers to be advocates for the full involvement of people seeking sanctuary in all aspects of Sheffield life. You will also work with local government, media, arts, education and business organisations to promote good practice in welcoming and including people seeking sanctuary.
