The Board is looking for people who are experienced and active contributors in their field, passionate about Sheffield and want to be part of shaping the City’s future.

Sharrow Safer Neighbourhood and Sheffield Faiths Forum will be hosting a meeting looking at the new Nationality Checking Service and the Formal Emergency Burials Service. There will be speakers from South Yorkshire Police, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Register Office.

p>The Media Trust is conducting some research to explore how faith groups view the media, how important they regard communications, what aspirations they have in this area and what training they would need to help them. For this purpose they have constructed an online survey which they would like to encourage as many faith groups as possible to complete.

Hospital Sunday Fund collections are scheduled to take place this year on 27 January. The fund is used to enable Hospital Chaplains and Social Workers (Statutory and Voluntary) to provide immediate financial help to patients and their families at a time of stress and unscheduled need.
