Faith Communities and Pandemic Flu - Guidance for faith communities and local influenza pandemic committees
The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), in conjunction with the Faith Communities' Consultative Council, has produced guidance explaining how faith communities can play a part in protecting themselves and others, and how they can help face the challenge should an influenza pandemic occur in the UK. The booklet covers topics such as:
- What can you do to stop infections in your faith community
- Protecting your congregation
- Helping your local community
- Dealing with those who have died

The DCLG has also produced a more strategic document advising statutory partners how to engage the capacity of faith communities in civil resilience, providing principles, tools and a roadmap for good practice.
