Faiths and Civil Society Unit

The Faiths and Civil Society Unit is a centre for excellence in the development of policy, practice and research in the area of faiths and civil society, based at Goldsmiths University of London.
 
It draws together policy makers, practitioners and researchers from a range of faiths, sectors and disciplines to conduct programmes of work to address practical and conceptual questions arising in the context of a strong policy agenda for faiths in the public realm in the UK and elsewhere.

Faith Based Regeneration Network

The Faith Based Regeneration Network UK (FbRN) is a national multi faith network for community regeneration and social action. It reaches 9,000 individuals and projects, and all faiths.
Our vision is to enable faith based regeneration practitioners to learn and gain inspiration from each other and to establish a conduit between policy makers and practitioners.
The FbRN website contains News, Events, Publications and Tools for Good Practice.

Grants available for local inter faith activity

Faiths in Action is a £4m grants programme open from 1 August 2008 to faith, inter faith, voluntary and community organisations and groups in England.

Administered by the Community Development Foundation (CDF) on behalf of Communities and Local Government (CLG), Faiths in Action aims to bring communities together, promoting positive relationships and collaborative social action between people of different religions and beliefs.

Improvement and Development Agency for local government (IDeA) 
On the IDeA website you can read the latest knowledge about good practice in local government. 
The IDeA works for local government improvement so councils can serve people and places better. It is owned by the Local Government Association.
